I will be calm.
Here are the first two pages
from my three-
year calmness plan.
I will strive to understand
the sort of thistle
that ends up in cemeteries.
I will talk
about small white horses
and support the Church
of the SubGenius
with the same satirical vigor
that brought the organization
into existence.
I will avoid singers
who pound
imaginary marriage
counselors
with their fists
as they hit the high notes.
